Macnaught oval gear flowmeters (PD meters) are manufactured in Australia and suitable for a wide range of clean fluids which are free from solids and particles, such as fuels, diesel including on diesel gensets, oils, lubricants, hydraulic fluids and many types of solvents and chemicals.

This inline positive displacement flow meter option offers high accuracy and repeatability, compact installation without the need for upstream or downstream straight pipe sections as well as bidirectional flow capability. Some models include options for IECEx intrinsically safe or explosion proof sensors. Can be ordered with an extensive selection of output modules, displays or controllers.

Depending on the flowmeter model and size, Macnaught oval gear flowmeters are available with different signal output modules such as reed switch, hall effect and NAMUR.
Integrally mounted displays/registers are available with, or without, configurable outputs such as scaled pulse, 4‐20 mA and hi/low alarm.
Remotely mounted displays, either panel mount or field mount, can be ordered with additional comms capabilities such as HART or MODBUS RTU for seamless integration with SCADA, PLCS’s or telemetry systems.
