Harsh environments with corrosive atmospheres, chemical processing of media such as acids, caustics or highly viscous organic substances place enormous material and mechanical stress upon wetted flow measurement technologies and requires tough solutions.

Permanent clamp-on flow meter for LIQUIDS in hazardous area IECEx Zone 1

The highly rugged FLUXUS F808 flameproof housing is suited for industrial applications.
With its connection and electronic compartment being hermetically sealed, the FLUXUS F808 provides for maximum operational safety and is especially designed for use in rough industrial environments such as in Chemical and Petrochemical plants.
Its extremely robust transducers and mounting hardware ensures a permanent contact pressure to the pipe wall and an excellent mechanical stability.  As the ultrasonic transducers are mounted on the outside of the pipe wall, the system does not experience wear, tear or clogging.
Highly innovative digital signal processing within the flow meter provides reliable, repeatable and accurate bidirectional flow measurement over a wide turndown ratio.
The FLUXUS F808 flow meter can be installed on pipes ranging from 1/4 inch up to over 20 inch diameter.


Permanent clamp-on flow meter for GAS in hazardous area IECEx Zone 1

The FLUXUS G801 is the ideal ultrasonic gas flow meter for permanent installation in rough and hazardous environments including offshore.
The transmitter has a Stainless Steel housing and can be operated through the glass fascia by a magnet pen without opening the housing. It is IECEx certified for use in Zone 1.
The FLUXUS G801 gas flow meter allows for an inherently bi-directional gas flow measurement of operational and standard volume flows. As the transducers are mounted on the outside of the pipe wall, by using the rugged stainless steel VARIOFIX C mounting rail, the system does not suffer from wear, tear or clogging. Furthermore, it will not cause any pressure drops inside the pipe and there is no risk of leaks.
The gas flow meter can be applied at inner pipe diameters ranging from 6 mm up to 2100 mm (no limitations on pipe wall thickness or material) and media temperatures from -40°C up to 100°C.
With up to two measurement channels, the FLUXUS G801 permanent gas flow meter can also be applied to difficult measurement points, is completely unaffected by gas density, viscosity and composition as well as temperature and pressure. Even wet gas up to Liquid Volume Fractions of 5% can be measured.

Portable clamp-on flowmeter for hazardous areas IECEx Zone 2

The FLUXUS G608 portable gas flowmeter and the FLUXUS F608 portable liquid flowmeter have been specifically engineered for use within hazardous areas, IECEx Zone 2.
It is the ideal portable flowmetering solution for liquids or gas whether for a temporary replacement of a stationary flow meter, check metering or service operation. Its internal data logger can store up to 100, 000 data points with the measurement data available for download and presentation by user friendly software.
The G608/F608 portable flow meter can be battery operated for typically up to 14 hrs before re-charge.
The G608/F608 portable flow meter goes where other portable devices can’t.
